What is LED light therapy?
LED light therapy is a gentle process by which light energy of various frequencies (colors) is delivered to the skin and underlying tissues. The colors – red, blue, infra-red, green, and yellow – penetrate the skin to different depths, causing photo-stimulation, a therapeutic and cell-renewing process that has been clinically proven to improve cell function.
What conditions does LED light therapy treat?
LED light therapy can alleviate or diminish a wide range of skin conditions, including:

What are the differences between the two Dermaglow® LED skincare systems?
In order to best match your needs, we offer two Dermaglow® LED skincare systems. The Dermaglow® LED Multi Wave System comes complete with 12 pre-set treatment programs and one port. The Dermaglow® LED Multi Wave Deluxe System comes with 15 pre-set programs and three ports, so you can connect three different mechanisms to tailor your treatment to each patient’s specific needs.
How soon will my patients see results?
Your patients' skin will benefit from Dermaglow® LED Multi Wave light therapy from the very first treatment, but because the changes happen on a cellular level, clients typically report noticeable changes between the fourth and sixth sessions. Many patients also report subtle changes after their first session, including softer, smoother skin and improved skin tone and color.
How many treatments are necessary to achieve skin rejuvenation?
The number of treatments necessary to achieve the desired results will vary depending on the patient’s needs. Typically, treatments are scheduled twice a week, with at least 48 hours between treatments, until results are achieved. For chronic conditions such as blemishes and aging skin, two treatments per month are ideal.
How are LED skincare treatments different from laser treatments?
Unlike lasers, LED lights do not heat the patient’s tissue, so there is no discomfort during LED therapy. Also, LED skincare machines use light with a longer wavelength, which permeates deeper levels of tissue. And whereas lasers deliver a precise, pinpointed light, LED light can be applied to the entire body during a quick treatment.
